I believe all statements in the Bible are divinely inspired written through the power of the Holy Spirit, and therefore true. Eliphaz’s words are true in that they are what he said. As you mentioned, knowing the context is critical.
I agree with you Nancy, that the Bible, every jot and tittle, is inerrant. I also agree that we are understanding Eliphaz’s words accurately. They just don’t happen to be expressing truth. This is why Job has to make atonement for his three friends at the end of the book. What they said about God turn out not to represent God’s true character.
