I think one of the underlying reasons I post some of the things I do has to do with memories. Going back and seeing even a performance of a song puts us back there ourselves (if we were alive at that time, of course). I remember 1977. It was the year I got married and the year I started dental school. It was also in the middle of the Carter years with gas lines and the rest. I guess I was a young adult and I won't now take away how important everything seemed at the time -- trying to figure out married life and being swamped in studies. Oh, and it was also the year I was accepted into the Air Force on a scholarship program that paid for most of my schooling in return for service immediately following. A lot of unknowns that now I know looking back. So what have I, have we, learned since then about life?
