If your ears and eyes are open even just a little you have heard the statement by many different sources that we are at war.
It doesn't seem this way, not in the World-War-Two sense (except if you are in Ukraine perhaps). Of course there are other types of wars, or we use the term War in broader ways. War and conflict seem to mean similar things. Perhaps the difference is size or at least our perception of size. All wars involve conflicts, fights, skirmishes, and the rest, and if we really get nerdy, every war involves the obvious things we can see and hear, like bombs and gunfire, but also things we cannot see and hear. There is a fog about it.
When I was in the military, I was told that our purpose was to defend the country, when called to, by killing people and breaking things. So “killing people and breaking things” is an apt description of kinetic warfare. But no war begins there. Every one of them begins before it is even declared. They all begin covertly because society must be ramped up and want war first. The masses need to be provoked because it will be their blood and treasure most on the line. This is not to say that all wars are phony and unnecessary, but we have to decide with the best information available, and this involves trust in leaders.
Most rational people all over the globe do not want war. They would prefer working things out at the lowest levels possible. The problem with this is that it does not fit the agendas of those who wish to run more of the world than they presently do. Unfortunately, these people exist and because they have a certain selfish and aggressive form of ambition, often described as Narcissism, where they have no qualms if others are hurt or killed, as long as it does not point back to them, we will always be dealing with war. For this reason, it is important for the general public to become knowledgeable on the subject more than what they may be told by news outlets.
And if we are always at war, one of the most important first questions should be, who are we fighting? It isn’t always as clear as pro-war politicians might want us to believe.
Just as there is such a thing as The Fog of War, where lines of communication are broken and information is scrambled while people are shooting and bombs are dropping, there is also a peacetime edition. This is the set-up to kinetic war by breaking lines of communication and scrambling information quietly. It is the effective use of censorship and propaganda. Censorship blocks truth and propaganda inserts lies. All of this is a part of covert or unrestricted warfare.
It is important to note that we all expect the next war to be like the last one. This is because this is our only historic frame of reference. But effective warfare involves the element of surprise and also calculations to include capturing the enemy’s resources as preferred over destroying them. Total annihilation is a poor wartime strategy for both sides. In addition, part of the surprise involves the utilization of the latest technologies against the enemy and what would this look like? Think of every invention since World War II and weaponize it. Weaponize computers, mobile phones, banking, media, including social media, and even elections. Degrade medicine. Introduce bacteria and viruses along with neurotoxins as ways to not just kill people, but capture them by threats and fear. Weaponize the importation of drugs, legal and illegal, to weaken those of fighting age and soon-to-be fighting age. Dumb down education. Train people to respect authority no matter what and use social media to shame those who think critically for themselves. Put populations through shutdown drills to train them to comply with arbitrary orders, especially if they make no sense. This is to teach people to trust without thinking and also to identify those who will be a problem for those in charge going forward. Reduce the population of one’s enemy (whether foreign or domestic) by introducing reproduction rights. Degrade the value of the individual as much as possible. Encourage suicide through modes of “entertainment.” And of course, make all of it look like their idea. Degrade their food supply. A reduced unhealthy population is easier to enslave. Insert politicians captured through sweetheart deals, bribes, and blackmail, to sell out their country. Shroud all by pushing captured media, government agencies, universities, and corporations to censor and propagandize. If they fail to do so, remove their funding. It all sounds like unrestricted warfare to me.
Now let’s turn the corner.
There is a good-guy element to all of this as well as an enemy. We need to keep this in mind. If this were not the case, we would have lost all our Constitutional rights long ago. Let me even go further, I am certain our side will ultimately win. Lies can’t last. Light eventually shines in darkness. Of course the more all of this gaslighting by the enemy that is being done, all at the same time, in order to distract from all that is being exposed, the more obvious it becomes to average hardworking people that we are being played. With a little research they begin to understand just exactly what is going on. At first, of course, it is just too unbelievable, but eventually, facts emerge that cannot be refuted. What was implausible at first, some conspiracies by a few cooks and crackpots begin to become the only reasonable explanations to what most of the world’s population has been seeing and experiencing.
So what to do?
In recovery we are advised to tend our own gardens, manage our own hula-hoops, keep our side of the street clean. All of this is excellent advice, but it is only one side of the coin. We are also shown that we cannot fix the junk in our head with the junk in our head, and therefore need to go outside our own level of admitted incompetence (Step 1) and connect with a power higher than human agency (Steps 2 and 3) that will then help restore us to sanity. From there we continue down a path of personal recovery that involves recovering and strengthening healthy relationships (Steps 4-9). Finally, we are to establish better spiritual habits to keep us healthy and enjoying the life God has blessed us with.
This last paragraph may have seemed a complete change of subject, but it is not. It is actually going toward the center of the problem because this is where the only real solution is to be found. You see, we have always been at war. The problem has been that we have tried to resolve this problem at a level too small to be useful. We thought we could create a peaceful garden for ourselves and ride out the craziness of the world. This never works and the reason is because we are still dying. We still get sick. We still have trouble with relationships. Therefore, the solution is never found as some great plan that pits one against an unseen many. The real solution is connecting with God and taking the Bible as the most important source for truth available to moral man. This is why Christianity is the most unpopular religion in the world. Even Satanism is not as violently opposed.
In Conclusion
There is only one dividing line, one decision above all others to not only make, but to use as the purpose of life going forward. Can you see it? Do you understand?
[Jesus speaking] So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:26-28 (ESV)
[Paul speaking] For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
This is an excellent description of today's circumstances and how we got where we are. But as you mention, we must draw near to the Lord for He is always in control.
