To recover from bad habits requires starting with honesty. Until then, double-mindedness will sabotage resolve.
You might say that behind every bad habit is a lie we have chosen to believe. We believe we can’t change, for example. That’s not true. We change when we choose to. And it isn’t that changing might not be difficult, but we have no right to declare it impossible when God is in the equation. And what might keep God from working? Our lack of honesty could be at the top of that list.
