The Force of Attraction
What force or forces draw people together?
What pushes or pulls people apart?
What makes us want to separate from someone else?
I think it’s Selfishness.
It’s the perfect repellent.
When someone is selfish they are obviously not interested in others except, perhaps, as these others might be used or manipulated.
And when any of us gets the hint we are being used or manipulated (assuming we have reasonable self esteem) we look for the nearest exit. Some way to punch out.
So what draws people together?
Love is a good answer I think.
Real love is not a warm feeling although these might appear. It is a relational force and it draws people to care for each other.
It’s invisible and powerful, sort of like gravity.
Be watchful,
stand firm in the faith,
act like men,
be strong.
Let all that you do be done in love.
