A spiderweb is a clever trap that simply waits for a meal to come along. All a little insect has to do is touch one sticky strand to become entrapped.
Other people’s problems are like spiderwebs. They entice well meaning onlookers to attempt to extricate other people from their own complicated web.
For some reason it is easy to believe others are missing the solutions we alone so clearly see and must, of course, share.
Here’s some unsolicited advise to those tired of finding themselves entangled in other people’s webs.
Stop with giving advice.
Express support and concern and offer prayers, but avoid opinions. Permit others to not do things the way you would.
Check back a week or two later and see what has happened.
Often we will discover that for some strange reason most problems solve themselves without our interference, and sometimes they turn out better than they often have in the past when we decided to involve ourselves in them.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
I am the southwest distributer of bad advice. If you have a problem of any kind , just call me and you’ll know exactly what not to do.
