It is always a treat to hear from you whether by notes or face to face.
Yep, the last day of the year happens to be my birthday.
I started this project last year in January around the tenth, and just so you know, I plan to continue into 2023 and beyond.
If you want to give me a birthday present here are a few ways you can.
First pray for me that God would keep my writing juices flowing.
Second, by all means, like and share my content with others. Although I am happy to see my writing reach a wide audience it has never been, and will never be, my primary objective. Instead I am happy to write and let it go. I would do this if just one of you found it helpful.
Third, for those who wish to support me financially understand that your gifts simply fuel my ability to reach others, especially those who might find encouragement, without any strings attached. I don’t write exclusive content to entice people to give. I believe we as a society are heading into some challenging times and many who are hurting will be seeking content to help them navigate. That is where I focus — on the intersection between recovery programs and local church communities. My prayer for all of you is that you will find people around you for the comfort, support, and encouragement you need. If you don’t have this, be brave and step out and look around.
Finally, I have decided not to talk about money except on this one day a year. I am blessed to have a day job and any additional funds I receive I will put toward ministry trips that take me out of the office (and sometimes out of the country).
Once again, thank you for your prayers and support and may you have a wonderful 2023.
Happy New Year.
Happy birthday and Happy New Year. Thank you for continuing through your writing to educate, inspire and encourage us to move forward in positive ways.
Happy birthday Ben!
