Life is certainly a riddle.
In the last post on this same proverb we looked at the barren life — one lacking any good purpose or meaning. The tragic character Macbeth helped us understand what this can look like.
This proverb equates water with life.
We know we need it to physically live but we also need a spiritual water that is deep and hard to find.
We need help.
Someone to help us draw the water out.
Where can such water be found?
