Being Captured
It reminds me of games we played as kids.
There are all sorts of variations to playground games where someone who is It tries to tag others, and when this other is tagged it means they are now “captured,” which then means they must go to a particular place and wait to be released. In some variations of the game the captured kid then has to run a capture others.
Well, something like this is being played out now in international, national, and even local affairs. Here are some descriptions of what being captured looks like today.
Let’s say a congressman is enticed to sleep with a Chinese spy. Far fetched I know. This individual is captured. He might be forced to disclose national secrets, or vote for certain legislation that works against his constituents or the nation. And connect the idea that the nation and its constitution are one and the same thing.
Let’s say a politician, or a member of a politician’s family accepts a bribe, the politician is captured. Can a payoff be legal and still capture a politician? Sure. Who makes the laws? Insider trading is against the law except if you are a member of Congress.
Drug companies pay for a hefty amount advertising on all of the media outlets and for all of the sports teams and for grants for research institutions and endowed chairs at prestigious medical schools. The amounts in many ways are the difference whether the company or institution lives or dies. And every time an institution begins to flounder employees are let go. The result of all of this are massive captures of institutions and even professions. This means that when a drug doesn’t do well therapeutically, and might even show terrible side effects it will still be able to find acceptance through positive expert endorsements and the hiding of unfavorable studies and data.
But it isn’t just drug companies. It happens with companies that make wartime hardware, software, and ordinance. They can capture politicians so they will vote for war over negotiations, for example.
When people in offices of high power and influence are flown to an exotic private island for a weekend of fun and relaxation only to be enticed to have sex with minors and all of this is secretly filmed, they have been captured.
And capturing is at all levels of society. Police, as well as city and county employees and elected officials can be captured by cartels, for example.
Children can be captured in subtle ways by playing with their developing bodies and not yet familiar sex hormones. Introducing Drag Queen Story Hours to kindergartners is not an innocent act of education. This is manipulating a child’s understanding of normal and grooms them to be abused by pedophiles or other confused children later on.
Also keep in mind that the capture noose can tighten with time. If someone turns around early enough they might obtain whistleblower protection. If they remain captured too long they can become accomplices to crimes. This explains a lot of doubling down behavior. They see no other options than to stall and continue lying.
Whenever people you see in the news are acting strangely, rather than quickly writing them off as stupid, consider the possibility they have been captured instead. If you look at things through this lens they might begin to make more sense.
This makes a lot of sense of trying to explain some people's sudden 180 shift from their normal thoughts and actions.
